Contemporary readings in Husserl’s Erfahrung und Urteil

General purposes:
The general purposes of the seminar are
A reappraisal of the fundamental tenets of husserlian phenomenology, as exposed in Experience and Judgment;
A reworking of particular topics of Experience and Judgment in the context of the contemporary philosophical debates;
Original research about the several issues discussed in Experience and Judgment.
Working organization:
The seminar will be held every morning, between the 23rd and the 27th April, from 10 to 13 A.M., at the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon.
Participants will send a working-paper till. At the seminar, they will make a presentation with a time span of about 15 to 25 minutes, followed by an open discussion.
After the seminar, participants will present a final essay (around 15,000 words) on the subject of the working-paper. The essays will be published under the title Contemporary readings in Husserl’s Erfahrung und Urteil.
