"We can find in Emil Cioran and Fernando Pessoa a same urge to transcend existence and recover what's before being born. On the basis of that, this paper intends to compare Cioran's leap in the absolute, connected with the experience of ecstasy and trans-figuration, and Pessoa's evasion from God, leading to be free from being and not-being."
